This modern knitting project is part of our fashion-led collection of easy-to-follow knitting patterns from TOFT. Made using super soft pure wool yarn, this knit kit will keep you cosy whatever the weather.
TOFT's pure wool range is seriously luxurious, spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful amigurumi toys, garments for adults and babies, and a full range of accessories.
YOU WILL NEED:
YARN: 120g of TOFT CHUNKY wool in your choice of colour (shown here in Steel) and an alpaca pom pom (optional, shown here in Camel).
TOOLS: 8mm (60cm) circular needles, cable needle, and a wool needle. This hat is knitted in the round.
The pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear in your MY TOFT area and at the bottom of your order confirmation email, which you can save or print at your own convenience.
SKILL LEVEL: intermediate
VITAL STATS: The hat measures approximately 22cm from crown to base when flat after washing and blocking.
IT WILL TAKE: approximately 1-5 hrs knitting time

A NOTE ON POM POMS: Alpacas are not killed for their fur. The alpaca fur products stocked by TOFT are made from the skins of young alpacas which have unfortunately died through natural causes in Peru. Alpaca pelts are purchased from indigenous farmers and used to create items such as these alpaca fur pom poms. We feel that alpaca fur, when sourced in this way, is an ethical fur product as the alpacas are not harmed to any demand and the farmer gets a monetary return on the loss of income cause by the death of one of the herd.
