With the sun shining over TOFT HQ this week, what better way to spend a day than at our annual Easter Open Day? With a range of activities for all ages, it is sure to be a day of fun for the whole family.
Alpaca Halter Walking & Farm Tours
An open day favourite, we will have the alpacas ready to halter-walk on Saturday. Tickets are on a first-come first-served basis, so arrive early! This half-hour walk around TOFT farm provides a chance to get up close and personal with the alpacas, not to mention lots of photo opportunities. You will have the chance to walk an alpaca, whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery around TOFT farm. A truly unique experience, this is an activity not to be missed!
TOFT Experts will also be leading Farm Tours throughout the day. The perfect opportunity to learn more about TOFT farm, enjoy the views and a relaxed walk around the gorgeous surroundings.
Children’s Activities
A range of activities for all ages will be available on the Easter Open Day. Allow your child to unleash their creativity as they make a pompom chick or rabbit, or plant the beginning of a potentially record-breaking sunflower! Whether creating with yarn or seed, these activities will provide your child with a lovely souvenir from the day.
Crochet Workshop
Activities aren’t just for kids – try your hand at some Easter-themed crochet on your visit to TOFT. With a bunny, hare or mini sheep to choose from, this workshop is available for all skill levels. A lovely way to try a new skill, this drop-in workshop provides the basic techniques needed to make your own Easter creation. Never crocheted before? One of the TOFT Team will be on hand to help.
TOFT Studio and Coffee Shop
As always, the TOFT Studio and Coffee Shop will be open for you to enjoy both yarn and a sweet treat or two. Pick up a new project (maybe Lauren the Angora rabbit or some Pick ‘n’ Mix Chicks), grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy the atmosphere.
