Toft Alpaca Shop's first felt making and shearing workshop takes place on 17th May 2011 and we're already excited.

It's a hive of activity here at the farm as we prepare gorgeous fleeces for you to work with, we've come up with new ideas and designs and ways of making felt textures to inspire you to make your own unique jewellery. We aim to give you lots of information and interesting facts about how we get our alpaca literally from field to fashion. There will be a farm tour and a chance to get up close and personal with our furry critters during their 2011 shearing. We'll show you how the fleeces are graded, what yarns they will become and how we colour blend. All materials for the jewellery making are included in the price along with expert tuition, refreshments and a home cooked lunch.
