DESIGN COMPETITION 2013

20111207_12.jpgWe are excited to announce the launch of a challenging stash busting design competition using your TOFT 'leftovers'.

The brief is simple: produce an original craft project using no more than: Fine: 20g Dk 30g Aran 40g Chunky 60g

We all hate yarn waste, especially when it's the finest homegrown natural British alpaca money can buy.

We are looking for originality so think outside the box whether it be adornment, ornament, animal or vegetable. You can use any craft you like to make something, but if you are shortlisted you will need to submit full making instructions or a comprehensive pattern. Photographs of all finished entries should be emailed to [email protected] with the subject 'Design Competition' before the closing date of September 30th 2013.

A shortlist of ten finalists will then be drawn up by Kerry Lord and the TOFT team, with the 1st prize being yarn up to the value of £150. The nine other shortlisted designs will receive yarn goody bags to the value of £50. The shortlisted designs will be published on our website and publicised through all our social media channels with full credits being given to the winner. We are hoping to create a directory of FREE patterns and projects to share with all our customers.  We know every gram of yarn is special.
